Thrive is led by Matt who has been branding companies (Government of Canada, Phillips, Telus, P&O Cruise Line, Future Shop) for over 24 years, from London, England and now in British Columbia, Canada.
The purpose of Thrive is to help companies in British Columbia be their target audience's first choice.
Depending on the client’s needs, Matt brings the right team together, consisting of strategists, writers, graphic designers, photographers, videographers, programmers, social media, and marketing experts. These are people we have worked with on many projects that are trusted and the best at what they do. Matt is always involved at every stage making sure that the brand vision is integrated successfully into every element.
Our wonderful team
Matt is the only person with a Master’s degree in Branding/Graphic Design in Northern B.C. We say this not to brag–Matt is a humble person–but in branding, we do feel that education is important. Would you use a lawyer for your business or a doctor for your family’s health if they didn’t have a degree? Everything we do is strategy first. Nothing makes it out of the studio if it doesn’t have a proven strategic reason.
Zee is our go-to designer and has years of design experience. Their ability to develop brand strategy into expressing something visually is incredible. They understand that the end user is at the beginning of everything we do and that every detail has a reason for existing in the final design. From visual identities, marketing and digital to packaging, sales presentations and advertising, we can take care of everything.
Andra has ten years of experience working with clients all over the world. She is a driven, passionate, digital marketing expert. Her diverse background (Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree in eBusiness Management with a focus on social media), makes her street-smart and an integral part of the studio’s strategy-first approach to all our work.
Mia is our social media expert and strategically plans, creates and schedules content for our clients’ social media calendars. They manage the campaign reporting process while scheduling and delivering paid and organic social activity. They work closely with our digital marketing and brand strategist to make sure that what they do has a purpose and serves the client’s desired goals.
Kim understands that language is vital. There is no point in writing something poetic if the audience isn’t going to appreciate it. Or in writing something in a technical business tone if the audience is going to feel alienated by it. Working closely with the brand strategist, Kim ensures that all written work leaves the audience feeling exactly how the brand wants them to feel.
When interviewing our client customers and teams (as part of our brand strategy process), we sometimes need help with business issues and broken systems–anything that branding can’t resolve. A trainer, facilitator and business developer, Norm, has 30 years of experience working with public and private corporations in Canada and the United States.
SEO (search engine optimization) is an ongoing service that gets our clients noticed. Allan is up to date on all the latest best practices. He is responsible for all SEO activities, including link building and keyword strategy, analyzing clients’ website content and suggesting improvements to make the sites more visible.
Gavin has worked with Thrive for many years, bringing a natural synergy between design and programming. His knowledge of web standards, rules and regulations is updated continuously. He ensures that all our clients have an effective mobile and tablet-friendly site that is easy for them to update and change content on if they choose to.
Elle is available to help our clients succeed and secure funding. She researches potential grant opportunities and identifies funding sources that align with the organization’s mission and goals. Then, she writes and submits grant proposals to foundations, corporations, government agencies, and other funding sources.
Owning a mobile phone does not make a person a professional videographer. We help with every part of the process, from script writing, casting, scheduling, wardrobe and make-up to shooting. The process ends with editing, where we choose the correct sections of the shoot to use (coupled with sound and graphics) to express the story we are trying to tell.
We have numerous photographers across BC that we work with, depending on your needs. These include indoor specialists with expertise in lighting a space and people, exterior landscape photographers who capture that magical moment and photographers who know how to express human spirit and stories in an authentic, engaging way. In short, we have you covered.
